We were approached by this gentleman in Mid Town a section of Baton Rouge . He befriended us immediately and spent the afternoon with us, as if he was giving us a tour . When it came time for us to part we said our goodbyes and he returned to a nice shady spot under a tree at his home. His home is among several buildings of antique and art shops . The kind people who own these shops have given him and a few others a home. They supply them with food , water , shelter and love. It warms the heart to see how these people have extended their hand to help these creatures. They are no longer homeless . We told our new friend that we would be back to see him.

It looks like this poor dear has been in a few fights, but obviously come out the winner. He's gorgeous Marsha and so is your shot of him and your touching narrative.

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.
This is heart warming Marsha, He has such a kind, expressive face, looks like he has held his own a few times on the street, by those scars. I'm glad he has a place to call home, and that you made friends with him. Tigs♥ =^..^=
