I found myself standing in this abandoned kitchen wondering about the family or families that once lived here . They may be gone from here but I'll bet they took their memories with them .

A great capture Marsha. I always find this so sad, but you're right about the memories. Hopefully they're good ones.

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.

And so sad. But I think there are so many stories about this place. Interesting and lovely shot, Marsha.

I like the capture, but not the place. It's so old and unattractive. Very good work.

The power of memories and the daily walk of life through this

kitchen over the years really stirs the curiosity of what

happened.

This is an image that makes one wonder about the past and all the meals prepped and eaten in this kitchen. Thought provoking image Marsha.

You are like me I always think to myself what did the place look like in it's hay days and the life that people had lived it must have been hard. This place looks like they patched it up on many a time and they tried hard to keep the old place going .Nice textures in this photo and very good composition too.

Makes me wonder how it all looked when it was being used. Interesting find!

Yes there is always a sadness about abandoned buildings. I am sure this place saw happy times once, but without people buildings become empty shells.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
