Honker belongs to a friend of mine. He came to her horse farm and has never left. We aren't sure where he came from and we assume he is a he . She named him Honker. He is a great security system . No one gets on the farm that he does not alert all within ear shot of their arrival. He's fallen madly in love with a beautiful goose , he spends his days and nights watching over her . There is only one problem the goose of his affection is concrete ! True story .....one of the funniest things I have ever seen .....yet sad. We are on the hunt to locate him a mate . Of course the final decision will be his .

Nice shot of Honker the farm Hunk Marsha. Here in the lake there is a boat made and painted like a swan. One swan fell in love with the boat although it was at lease 5 times its size and followed it all over the lake!

I love the story of Honker Marsha!...As you say, a great security system!...Hope you manage to grab a mate for him....He must be sore from all that concrete!

---we assume he is a he.....He's fallen madly in love with a beautiful goose.

If the one it has affections for wasn't made of concrete, like in the human world, three possibilities would remain Marsha, but now I'm confused as well, lol.

Good image, funny narrative, and some chuckles about Owd Bob's comment.

Regards, Cornelius.

What a neat story, I do hope you find Honker a mate, cute but kind of sad. I have never seen that type of goose for real. Good one Marsha, and i hope you will let us know if you find him a mate. I guess one way to look at it is he won't stray from home.:) Tigs♥ =^..^=

I think you have concrete evidence that this goose is mentally unbalanced! A real live mate may just send him over the edge! LOL. Excellent shot, and story, Marsha.

You sure have some interesting 'friends' Marsha...cute story...poor Honker...then again, if you do find a mate I hope he won't get 'wet feet' when it comes time for the wedding, as is the case here...great shot.
