What an amazing place to build this Monastery! What a climb to get there too.I really can't imagine how they build that on and into such a huge rock. I do like that you took this photo. And I look forward to seeing more of them. The sky is a bit grainy, but as you take more photos, you'll be able to get that to go away, I'm sure. Lovely area. Welcome to caedes!! Verena

Welcome to Caedes. This shot brings so many questions to mind such as how difficult it must have been to build on that location, how difficult it must be to come and go, why someone would choose to build a structure near a lake and totally block the view of the water, and is the one eyed face on the rock to the left a natural occurrence or a carving.
