On a tour through the country this Bird Box jumped out and said take my picture. No family had taken up house as yet.

Judging by the cobwebs, it looks like quite a while since this desirable residence was occupied. But I'm sure a good clear-out and a lick of paint could soon alter that! Fabulous details.

Good composition, with wires and top of the box in parallel. And the focus is as fine as to show the cobwebs. Lighting is very good with fine details. Finally blurred background is nice.

your lighting in this image is amazing. the focus is perfect and gives the sense i am in this moment. i wish you would of worked a little on the parts of the wood that are a little too white and burned them in more. the shallow depth of field is well-executed. i think if you would of moved the camera over a little to the right, so that the wood was more near the side, then the composition would be even better. overall, i think it is a very well-executed photograph. congratz!
