I took this picture on a visit to New york in May 2005. The bronze eagle is part of a war memorial dedicated to servicemen who lost their lives in the Atlantic Ocean during World War II. It stands in a corner of Battery Park overlooking New York Harbor.

He's pretty evil looking, like he's going to swoop down and pull my hair or something. Great job, love the lighting, but don't forget about the rule of the 3rds.

The work of art may have a moral effect, but to demand moral purpose from an artist is to make him ruin his work. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - 1832)
