I'm back for real this time, and I brought you all something that's going to knock your socks off. I'm really proud of this one because I learned something new while making this one. Be sure that more eye pleasers are on their way.

very nice colors - and the haze makes for a very nice effect. It's like you are under water looking at the sun...and falling. great job Lightning! And, may I say it's about time you came back!!!

i already love this just b/c you said you learned something new, which isn't to be taken for granted-- a lot of people will produces dozens of images without learning, doing, or trying anything new. the light soure is also very very nice, what program(s) was this made in? my main critique is the background; the colors are nice but maybe TOO saturated (blue blue and purple purple) and too simple, you could have done more with it and still kept it subtle and focused on the star

Thanks for all the great comments. TRACY... it's good to be back home :). RedDawg-Thanks for your input. On this one I wanted to be sure not to take away from the light source because this was my new learning experience. I made the light with a plug-in i've had for adobe photoshop for quite some time (Knoll Light Factory), but never bothered to learn that it could be taken to this level. I was so astonished by the caliber of things this program could do, I kinda wanted to showcase that in this image.
