The lighthouse at Pemaquid Point, Maine juxtaposed to the writings of a lighthouse keeper's diary. No one seemed to notice, but the horizon was a little uneven and it bugged the hell out of me. Re-upload with a fixed skyline.
Michael..I must tell you, that you've really touched my heart with this photo. Living in ORegon, I have come to love lighthouses..there are still many of them here, just as I am sure they are in Maine. The colour of this sky is wonderful! The silhouette effect is fantastic. I can almost feel the silence permeating from this picture. Its just pure magic. I hope you will allow me to do a canvas painting of this sometime. It would be such a pleasure. Its a very unique colour and that makes it just magnificient! Thank you for such a beautiful posting!!
Hi Michael, this image is so good from the composition to the coloring. Yea I too like the mood that's very well reflected in the photograph. Nice work man, I still don't get the message on top, sorry! 10/10 ... hmm, a little more yellowish takes a little sadness away actually.
The photo by itself creates a very somber mood, but the lightkeeper's words, to me, really make this special. Nice touch and very creative. Thanks for sharing and keep up the excellent work.
