It's a really good photo, but as much as anything, I appreciate your informative text. Some folks would have titled it "Grace" and either written "I shot this last weekend," or "Canon EOS at f.8." Your text is educational, and gets extra points from me!
This is a ten. We callit here Pampas Grass. I reember in dancing classes we used to wear these in our hats. Thank you for telling us about the image. The sky is so blue and it looks so peaceful and relaxing! Great job!!
Yup: we do call it pampas grass here in Florida too! It's a gorgeous and very ornate grass and I have begged my hubby many times to please plant some for me in our yard!
Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
Oh Eve, this is fantastic. The tassles on the ends of that grass just glisten as they are highlighted by the sun. What a perspective. The clarity of the water is awesome as well and I especially like being able to see detail underneath the surface. This is a keeper. Great work.

I love the calm sky, the details in the waves and the whole image is beautifully framed by the grasses off centre to the left in the foreground. 10/10. :o)
I really like the blues in this shot. The pampas grass looks blond and shimmery. It is a very pretty picture, nice work!!............................LPF
"Love starts at home: family first then the indivdual then your town. its easy to love people far away, but it is not always easy those right next to us. I do not agree with the big way of doing things. Love needs to start with an individual." -Mother Teresa ( But in my opinion whever there is world crisis it is wise to give.)
I hadn't seen this one before and I just love it! I was looking through your gallery and came across it. We have pampass grass, but not with a backdrop like that! So beautiful. I faved it right away.
All of earth is crammed with heaven And every bush aflame with God But only those who see take off their shoes. - Elizabeth Barrett Browning<p>
