This is a view from the summit of New Zealands highest main road, The Crown Range Road, 1121m. The road links the towns of Queenstown and Wanaka. For the less adventurous there is another lowland route, without the hairpin bends :) It is a spectacular drive in the winter when the snow is on the hills. LOTR country :)

The emotions, the tears, of wasted years, wash over me like a cold wind out of the north. I tremble and shake, with each breath i take, and there's no one around me that cares. Dwight.

Lovely shot, Eve. Well done. Brought to mind, the Rocky mountain
trail, north of Boulder, Colorado. First time I ever looked down on clouds, from a highway.

Great looking shot. Those clouds hugging the mountains are really nice and add to the overall composition. Nicely done.
