Lake Windermere Cumbria, England. This was so lacking in colour I thought I may convert it to B/W. What do you think ? It was raining when I took the picture and I wanted to capture the greyness of the view. However, I got blue instead. Any comments welcome :)

No! nowt wrong with this as far I'm concerned!....Blue is fine....I would think it would also make a great B&W too...why not try it! and compare!...necely done thought......
Beautiful place at any time of year!...Brian and I will be going one day next week!.....It's only an hour or so for us!.........

I like it this way. The pale blue and black make a lovely contrast. I think in b/w, the sky would lose some interest. Beautiful natural framing with the trees.

This is a scene that could look lovely in all kinds of colors or lack of, Eve. I converted it to greyscale and also tried an orange filter on it - it was so well shot in the first place, it could go in any direction but I like the blue. Very nice!

The "Blue" does it for me ... and framing those boats with the trees works well too. The "Rainy Day" aura comes through nicely Eve. Well done.

This is beautiful the way it is Eve ... I love the overall blueness & it really sets the mood here. I like the natural framing with the tree branches also. An excellent capture.

Gorgeous Eve, simply breathtakingly gorgeous. The beautiful view of the sea with boats and the terrific framing with the trees, it's just perfect. What a great job you've done here. It's def a keeper and thanks for sharing it with us.

What a beauty of an image, LynEve. IMHO it's a keeper but if you really don't care for the blue, desaturate it. I honestly think you would be messing up a wonderful capture if you did though. Just my opinion, you may like it less blue. Nicely done.

I must agree with the others. This is perfect just the way it is. I love that sweet, baby blue. Love the way the trees provide a natural frame too..=)

You may not have had the white balance on the proppah setting but no matter, it came out good. I like the blue cast myself. After all, we do have blue days, do we not?
Nice work.

Lovely framing. The blue tones look very good, but it is up to you to decide how you prefer it to look.

I was stood in that exact spot just a few days ago! You have captured the depressing clouds in a non-depressing way - you can't even see the mountains opposite! The colour hint in what looks like grayscale gives it that extra boost of atmosphere.
