Old locomotives are so special and you shot this one very well, Eve. Didn't you explain to the others there you're doing important work for the internet and needed them to get out of your way??LOL Your one shot is superior in all ways!!

Memories of an era past brought to mind with this marvelous picture. Thanks Eve for taking me back. These old Iron Horses have always fascinated me from childhood on. It's good to know a few of them still survive to keep the memory alive and some youngster's eyes filled with awe.
I don't usually "collect" Trains or any engines, But this is exceptional quality Photo, Eve! We all have a soft spot for Steam Engines, and you captured that Old Magic there! Thank you for sharing it with us,

It is a great image. I know how frustrating it can be when everyone wants to get in the way with themselves or their cameras. Well framed and it is nice to see something different!
This looks to be a very powerfull beast Lyn ! i find it a great shot, it looks so powerfull, and i understand that lots of people came over to see the train in action.
