I joined the crowds last week when this restored steam engine visited our town. This was the only shot I managed without people in the way :)

I always love riding in these owd puffers!.....So majestic and historical!...the smell o' the smoke choking your nostrils was an aphrodisiac in it's self!..........Thanks for this great nostalgic post!

Memories of an era past brought to mind with this marvelous picture. Thanks Eve for taking me back. These old Iron Horses have always fascinated me from childhood on. It's good to know a few of them still survive to keep the memory alive and some youngster's eyes filled with awe.
