Great capture of detail in the big open flower. yellow is not always easy to get the exposure right. detail is often over exposed. You did well. I like the unopened bloom even better. It is beautiful. Nice work.

It's a good shot, but it could be better. Maybe giving it a frame like Eye-Spy and centring only on the flower without the background.

I think your presentation of this flower is very nicely done. There are all kinds of ways to handle pics, as you well know, with or without frame, different lighting settings and backgrounds, but I feel when an artist gives us something that's this good, it's best to leave it alone, unless we see something that we think could really enhance the presentment, so I'm just going to say..great job and good luck with your fight against the weeds :)PJ

This is a lovely picture of a most attractive flower. It will surely take over the weeds, but around here it sometimes has a tendency to take over too much from the more delicate rock garden type plants.
