I'm glad you didn't let you goal get in the way of capturing these beauties, Eve! I really like how you've composed them and the lighting on the top one makes it nicely emphasized. Good work.

That is so gorgeous - the way the colour inside the flower connects to the buds and foliage! Beautiful contrasting composition. Glad you stopped on the way to that B&W file. Mind you, I love B&W work, so looking forward to seeing some more nostalgia.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Don't hesitate to take the flowers you're encountering, Lyn. These are gorgeous and the leaves around them as the shrew pointed out really enhance this whole upload. Do you know what kind of flower it is? I've never seen foliage that so perfectly matched the bloom before...it's as if a talented florist arranged them so they could be seen to their best advantage. In my faves...ever burgeoning faves, I might add...lol :)PJ
