One of a few new pictures I have added to my Nostalgia folder. This appeared around the corner unexpectedly and I only had time for one shot, eight clippety-cloppers are a lot faster than my two feet :) It was a pity I did not get the back of the carriage in the picture.

Nice touch. I bet when this rig was new the owners would have died for a ride a cushy as those rubber inflatable tires are providing today. Can you imagine this with wooden or iron wheels? Gives a whole new meaning to the "clippety-clop" ..lol..I like how you've treated this photo. :)PJ

Found this in the voting booth and was "drawn" to it!! Get it? Drawn!

Nice shot...wish we could've seen a wee more of the carriage. Luv it in the sepia tones!!

Picture Purrrfect . Some people are like slinky's, completely useless but still a lot of fun when you push them down the stairs. 8~O

Another great treatment of these nostalgia images. Have you considered collaging them?

Another lovely old fashioned image Lyn, again the tones and composition are wonderful (other than the missing bit of carriage which we'll forgive you for:) Fantastic "one-shot" capture Lyn.

Just saw this in VB and wanted to get the whole story. Very well done for a rushed snap. I like it all and can live without the back of the carriage. However, to finish the effect, I would clone out the paint stripes on the street. Otherwise, a very 'aged' feel to the scene with the frame and sepia. Thanks for sharing.

Perfect clarity here and definitely nostalgic. With a touch more of Sepia tone it could pass for an old tin-type. As I see it you managed to get the rear end of two horses, the rear of two people ... 4 out of 5 rears ain't bad at all. :o) Nice work LynEve.
