This is for those of you who enjoyed my little duckling Taking The Plunge which was taken at 2pm This one was at 2.01 pm and he was so delighted to be reunited with his mother that he swam round and round her causing these contortions in the poor thing as she frantically paddled on the spot to keep her eye on her baby. :)

I am not sure, but it might be, that this is the best duck picture I have ever seen. Its like a shot from wonderland. The sun is not making beautiful effects on the water only, but also on mother duck. Her face shows so much love for her little baby and the baby itself seems to enjoy swimming a lot. Great job. Will see it again on page one, that's for sure.

You make bathtime lots of fun,
Rubber Ducky, I'm awfully fond of you

Rubber Ducky, joy of joys,
When I squeeze you, you make noise!

Every day when I
Make my way to the tubby

Cute and yellow and chubby

Picture Purrrfect . Some people are like slinky's, completely useless but still a lot of fun when you push them down the stairs. 8~O

What a marvelous capture. Extremely well focused and catching the mother twisting her head to keep an eye on the young one is "priceless". As for the sparkles of sun on that water ... what can I say? Oh yeah ... I said it up front ... What a marvelous capture.
