The Little Orme, a limestone headland at Llandudno, North Wales. At the other side of the bay lies the Great Orme (Creuddyn). Orme is from the Norse word urm or orm, meaning sea serpent, and legend says the name was given by marauding Vikings, the Great Orme symbolising the head and the Little Orme the tail. . . . . . I'm not sure I can make out the lines of the sea serpent, but it makes for a worthy tale and a most enjoyable description of a lovely sight.

I wasn't aware the "Blues" could get rid of the "Blahs" but that's the case here. Capturing that headland mass of limestone as you have so nicely beyond the blue water and framing it in blue ... I'm feeling absolutely chipper about now.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Very pretty and a fine shot. Those doggone Vikings they just marauded everywhere. Good thing they finally settled down in Minnesota and mended their ways.

This is great with the little village and the most impressive rock formation. I'm not seeing the serpent's tail but I am seeing some beautiful color. I think your choice of framing the blue sky and water with even more blue was inspired.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
