Lovely, cheerful flowers, Lyn (which I think are called pinks) and thank you - your capture of them has certainly brightened up a dull grey day where I live! First-rate colour, clarity and composition, and your choice of border is definitely the finishing touch. Delightful!

Marvelous color and clarity Eve. As for the write up you gave ... YEAH! ... and the "Mona Lisa" was just a "Simple Woman with a Smile" :o)

They certainly are! Red, that is! What a fantastic color. I know these guys and I love them. They just come back every year and I like that. These are stunningly beautiful, Eve.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Very nice and you didn't oversaturate the reds...that should be worth 20 points alone.

Red? Where?

~re-adjust drunken eyes~

Oh my!! Yes, now I see!! Radical reds dominate, yet, not over-saturated. A grand capture!! My favorite part is the shadows on the left bud that twinkle through!!

I love dianthus and this is a very cheerful one; the color is scrumptious. Lovely understated framing as well.
