I love Gazania and cannot resist photographing any I see. A native of South Africa, also known as Treasure Flower or Rainbow Flower. These ones grow by the creek that has featured in several of my pictures. Both my posts today are Gazanias as I could not choose which one :)Which do you prefer ? . . . . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7. . . . . My thanks to all viewers and commenters :)

I suppose I could say this one is superior for the greater complexity of the shape and pattern in the flowers. I refuse to choose.

I like both images Lyn, but I like the other flowers more - they have a more vibrant colour and rounder petals. Thanks for sharing some of your Summer with us - all I can see in my garden is green and brown! Patti

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I knew it. They're both saved, Lyn. I like these equally as well, but for entirely different reasons..well, except that they are both beautiful and beautifully shot. Amazing.

Ya know, sometimes the vertical presentation works very well vs. a horizontal one and the proofs in the pudding on this one as its stellarific!! Here again we see those profound colors just smack the viewer right in the eye!! You’ve really nailed both your postings today babe!!
