Just an experiment and I know some of you will hate it lol. Feel free to be brutal, I promise not to cry. . . . . . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7 and a fit of the frillies. . . .Thank you for viewing and I welcome your comments.
I love the idea of this, Lyn, and the photo is beautiful. I think it would be more effective if you had more of the blossoms or foliage violating the border like in the lower right area.Your color palette is wonderful!
Love the colors displayed here and the Victorian lace frame sits well with this old geezer ... BUT ! (Don't you hate it when there's a "but") ... I think I would like it better had the blossoms overlapped the the lace rather than the other way around.
I love the lace! I love the flowers. I love the "frame" colors. I wish there were two more blossoms in the bouquet. I wish I knew how you did this! Thanks, on my desktop as I write!
What's there to hate ? It's a beautiful combination - flowers and lace! ok, so maybe a little more petals overlapping lace, but on the whole it is a beautiful image!

This is beautiful Eve & the title couldn't more perfect. I just love the lace frame surrounding these gorgeous flowers ... elegant too I may add. Excellent work & I love presentation's like this.
This is lovely and feminine. The lace is very delicate and makes a great frame. I think I agree with some previous comments that it would be nice to bring the flowers forward and have them overlapping the frame more than they are now.
If anyone else looks at this- I am not able to overlap the frame with the flowers as suggested - I don't know how to do that :(. The bud and the bit of petal that do I had to 'paint' in - not well done and took ages :)
Girly!! But unfortunatley that's about it hon...sorry, not crazy about this one.
Again, I think possibly too much thought went into the post processing vs. the pre-capturing of this devine flora. The frame is old-world and delightful, but, doesn't set off the imagery within. This may be a good one to switch over to B&W or I'm thinking sepia and then doin' some funky stuff to it...maybe?!?!
You just keep havin' fun...that's an order missy!! 8~D
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
