Something I had not thought of Chris, but you could well be right lol :)
The Liverpool Echo, with a readership of around 400,000 (circulation approx 138,000 copies), is the second most-widely read evening newspaper in the UK, but I doubt that was in the mind of the person who named this rose. Mine was given to me one birthday because I was born in Liverpool.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

These have a very romantic, Victorian appeal to them. I read that odd numbers of things make the best compositions, but there are always exceptions too. This is perfectly lovely.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Well, this certainly is a keeper. Love those droplets. Love the arrangement. Love those delicate colors. Gorgeous image. If this doesn't make the "Perms", nothing will.

Absolutely lovely. And there are never too many rose photos in the world :) This is certainly one of the most touching rose photos I have seen so far. I really like this one!
It is always fine to your photograph look at LynEve. They are also
this way splendid. Flowers, nature or bldg., she are and remain
superb.
Your versions which you make, are a jewel for the eye.
