This is a miniature Agapanthus from my garden in March. There is a little bug on it which I decided to leave, in case it is a Caedes spider :) Looks better full sceen.. .Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thanks for viewing.Any comments are most welcome and appreciated.

Very good DoF! I like the intense blue too, but the green framing is a bit distracting IMO :-)

I'm sure it must be a Caedes spider! Love the way it's creeping over the bud. Beautiful color and clarity!

Lyn, to me it's a beautiful image. The frame is a minor detail, but OK to me as well. I think it's a matter of personal taste. Regards, Cornelius

I like the frame, in fact it's not distracting at all. I was looking at the picture thinking about the comments I wanted to leave, made up my mind, and then read all the other comments before I ended up here, but had to go back to see what all the fuss was about. I think it fills in nicely and I know that sometimes resizing a photo distorts if you can't do it exactly as you want. Perhaps that's not the reason you made the frame, but at any rate, I like it...oh, and I liked the flowers too ....sheesh...made me forget what I wanted to say ::LOL::

Hello Lyn, I have just got back home and now seen your posting. The colour of the frame matches well with the purple-blue of the flower. If I may suggest, it would have been better to show a bit of the stem of the flower - if it were possible - but I think you know that and had your reasons for not doing so. As usual you have taken pains to make a good presentation.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
