This is another shot of the same bunch of roses I used for my other ROSE picture. That one was taken outside in the sunshine, and I spent a couple of hours working on the background etc. This one was inside basking in the sunshine through a window and was not enhanced at all. I think I like this one best, and would be interested to hear what you think :)

Well, I just finished giving you high marks in vb for other post, and I'm sorry, but I like it more than this one. This is very dramatic though and a great presentation

Well they are both very lovely in my opinion, but this one has a more dramatic flair because of the shadows, but either one would be absolutely wonderful gracing the front of a Hallmark (or any other) greeting card. It would be like sending someone a virtual bouquet.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

This may look more natural but I think I like the other one better because it does show off the flowers more. However the lighting here is more interesting.

Very nicely done Eve, they just seem to glow. Sunshine has a very pleasant effect. I like this one too (along with you) although both are great. :)

Eve, it's like trying to compare Rose Red to Rose White. They're both stunningly lovely and yet one is fair and one is dark..they both lovely. Thanks for all your hard work.

I won't be uploading images until my computer comes out of its sudden death coma. I am commenting using a shared machine that doesn't have PhotoShop or my images on it. I'll let you help me tear my hair out.

Lyn, I love this. The colors are like none I have sen before. The lighting is superb. The many folds and shadows are a delight to the eye. I have only one negative critique. In that the human eye is drawn to the the lightest portion of an image, that white/blue area at the bottom of the center rose keeps trying to steel the show. I don't know what it is but I would clone it away. Excellent image in all other respects. It's a keeper.

Kia Ora Eve,
Another work of art from yourself. I get the impression that each petal hides a secret here. (probably the romantic in me!).
I find the light & colour fascinating, very well done e hoa.

Interesting to compare the two. I agree with Pat that the area with the blue is distracting. On the whole I prefer the delicacy of the first image to this more dramatic one.
