I darkened the colour a little in this by adjusting curves in PSP. . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7..
Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.
Wow, it looks like sundown to the left and the darkening really makes the whites stand out so nicely. The composition is excellent as well and it is balanced by the little bit of splashing white wave on the left of the image. This is so very nicely done.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very
confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend
a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in
the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Very well done, Lyn. The scene looks great. If I may make a suggestion - if you had darkened all the white on the pier and left the boat as it is, it would have looked as though a search light is on (like the coast guard does when they go checking :) )
Lyn, Now you've darkened the colour I miss only a shining harbour lighthouse (lol). This is a perfect image! Gives me a good an tranquil feeling. Regards, Cornelius

Awesome one gal!! The darkening was a grand idea, it really lends a mood to the capture!! Did you use a tri-p...oh, never mind. Hehehe, I just luv teasin' ya!! Really a nice shot...wish we had a wee more of the back end of the boat, but the crashing waves beyond really strike a chord!!
What a great contrast in the photo Eve......the boat is sitting in such peaceful water in the foreground and the waves are crashing under that threatening sky in the background. Neat color that you achieved. Very unique and eye catching. Thanks for sharing this with me ;=)
