I love the cool colors of the foreground and the warmer tones in the rear. I love the splash that looks so nice against those wonderful colors of the sky. I like the angle too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Amazing shot, Eve, there doesn't appear to be too much of a barrier between calm and fury. Thanks for sharing.

what I really like here are the different tones of aqua throughout the photograph and the colour coordinated boats - just like a painting!

I really like this, too. The juxtaposition of the calm waters and boats with the dramatic waves crashing over the berm further out makes for a fantastic image. Even the colors in the sky are unusual and pleasing.

Beautiful view of the harbour and breakwater. From this I can see that you had a long walk (or drive?) to get to the point where you took the other photo from. It was certainly worth it.

I'm certainly glad you were able to take advantage of the sea this day....two marvelous shots. I like the contrast between the fury and the calm of the water the boats are floating on, and the colors of the boats are great too !! :)

Lyn, think this image is complementary to your image 'high tide # 1'. Both are beautiful! Never expected to become salt at my face of your images (lol). Regards, Cornelius
