Canterbury, that mystical place in NZ, England, New England. Such amazing clouds you have captured. I wonder if Ley lines run through all three places.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

The clouds look quite sharp with the hint of rain in them.

I like the dark, but they really don't look angry more like they are looking for a place to rest..

I'm wondering if you used HDR on this image. It almost looks as if you could have, or perhaps it was just the way it was. Lovely scene, and since I'm looking at pouring rain at the moment, it certainly fits my mood. :)

They are great clouds, they look as though they may be thinking about dumping some rain on you. I love the fluffiness of them, and the way they look so close to the ground.

Beautiful and striking image. I might have liked to see more of the lavender (?) in the lower right-hand corner.

very dramatic clouds too Lyn - but I am sure they created some interesting lighting effects as there is a fair amount of blue sky around too! lovely capture!
