Very nice colour and I particularly like the way you have done the background - and the framing too.

I love the ever so gentle purple background that really plays up the beauty of this gorgeous iris. Nicely done work of art.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

You must live in the most hospitable place on earth, Eve. I can't believe you're into spring already. Do you live in the northern part of New Zealand? Gorgeous treatment of this lovely little flower opening up. In my faves :)

Lyn, while spring is near at the southern hemisphere, summer at the northern hemisphere (ok, let's call it so in spite of the many showers we had) is slowly fading away. We have to wait for at least half a year before we can make a capture like this. Think, however, it will not be that beautiful as this one (has something to do with skills, lol). Regards, Cornelius
