You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Lyn, autumn in Holland is springtime in New Zealand. We have to wait at least half a year before we can make this kind of captures. Wonderful image. The blue colour is really splendid! Regards, Cornelius
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
Beautiful, Lyn - so vivid and fresh. The flowers might also have been worth rendering with an "art painting" effect such as pastels or oils (not that they're at all lacking as they are).
I don't care that it's all been said, you're just going to have to read what I say, and I say that everyone that has commented before me was right :) Happy Spring to you, my dear. Thanks for sharing a part of it in such a lovely way !!

This is a real beauty of a shot, well saturated and nicely contrasted. I'm not much of a fan of big borders, but this one is excellant and compliments the flowers perfectly. A lovely, well thought out work of art.
Funny, I was going to write the same thing as Ryst, whose message is immediately above mine. The frame does indeed work. Usually they are too decorative, or frivolous, and take away from the image. Not in this case. You created a real gem.
