'Allo! I live with a friend of Lyneve, along with several other alpacas. She has asked me to pop in and tell you that due to a computer slowdown and being extra busy these past few days she has fallen behind in commenting, and is sorry. She is busy viewing and enjoying your pictures right now and hopes to be back to normal very soon. When I and my friends are upset we tend to spit! However today I decided to pose nicely for the camera so as to be able to deliver this message :) While I am here - a bit about myself. I am Alpaca(Vicugna pacos) a domesticated species of South American camelid developed from the wild alpacas. I resemble a sheep in appearance, but am larger and have a long neck as well as coming in many colors. I am bred for my fleece which is fibre similar to sheep’s wool, but lighter in weight, silkier to the touch, warmer, not prickly, and has minimal lanolin which makes it nearly hypoallergenic. It is also soft and luxurious. We are shorn annually.

Looks like Randy likes the way his wife looks in the morning. I think he gave her quite a compliment, as you are a lovely animal and a great spokesman for Eve!!!

What a pleasant face this was to see to open my day. This will add to my good spirits for this day. Clarity and detail are outstanding. We have some here that roam with sheep and they say keep the coyotes at bay.

In my younger days I was shorn once a month but now it is every 2 months! Great narrative, Alpaca, and you look great too. This friend of your keeper has done you justice with her camera!

Your commentary is as amusing as your shot! I love the hairdo and how they always look like they are grinning.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Hello, Mr. Alpaca,
This is Aurora. I am writing for JoAnn because I wanted to tell you that you are very cute and I think I am in love with you. I am so happy that LynEve took your picture so I could get to meet you. If you ever come to Oregon, I will introduce you to some very friendly llamas who live in my neighborhood.
Your new friend,
Aurora
