Lake Brunner (Surface area 40 km² Max depth 109 m) Westland, NZ. Named after Thomas Brunner who was the first European explorer to set foot on the West Coast in 1846. The Maori name for the lake, Kotuku Moana, means "Waters of the White Heron." In this area the average annual rainfall is 3.8 METRES! . . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7 . . any comments welcome and most appreciated :)

Just love this Lyn. I like the angle and I can almost feel the water splashing on me. I can definitely hear it. Like the crisp, clear coloring and the view is awesome. Excellent post.
