First 1 of 3 created from photos taken at Ferrymead Heritage Park, NZ. A bit of nostalgia for some of you. I was once the proud owner of a camera like the top centre one and can still recall the satisfying metallic noise as the shutter was clicked. After of course prolonged setting up of the shot (say cheese!) making sure the sun was behind me, and then the long wait to have the film developed and view the very often disappointing results. Then there were parents muttering about the cost of film . . . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7 . . Thanks for viewing. Any comments welcome and always appreciated.

I still remember that on one of my first voyages (about 1963) we did a port call in Trömsö (Norway). Although it was very cold, I've climb up a mountain to capture with a rather similar camera a stunning view. Once I was there the shutter of my camera was frozen, so I did all my effort for nothing. So your image brings back sweet(?) memories to me Lyn. A flash back indeed. Thanks for that.

Love this shot Lyn! I still have a Brownie camera along with an old fold out bellows type. Neat items to hang onto.

Excellent photo and narrative. I can see the work and thought that went into this. That alone adds to this great creation. Very good Lyn.

A wonderful job on the presentation yet again, Eve. I love the way you go about it. I don't even remember seeing one of these as a child, but I'm sure my folks must have had one.

I also had a Brownie Box for my first camera. What a memory. Waiting for the pictures to come into the DrugStore was like FOREVER at that age. You just knew you had something great in there. Thanks Lyn, for shareing.
