With their faces turned towards the east they patiently wait for the sun. . . . . Young sunflowers move their faces to follow the sun throughout the day until they become mature, and then they permanently face east in anticipation of each sunrise. The day I visited them there was no sunshine but they did not appear to mind too much and still smiled :)

There's so many of them! I'm curious as to what they look like in the landscape. They seem to be in a rocky vally, they must be quite a sight from above.

Simply beautiful! I love the angle on this, wherever did you find a ladder tall enough? Seeing your flowers from the southern hemisphere and the daffodils from England makes our snowbanks definitely more bearable and the promise of Spring a greater anticipated blessing. Thanks for sharing.
