Albert Schweitzer said: "At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." . . . . . With this Friday flower offering my gratitude to all who help and encourage me here. The exchange of knowledge and ideas keeps enthusiasm alive. Thank you everyone, this is especially for you, and anyone who loves flowers.

The modern version of that saying may be : "when your car battery runs out ...". Count me in, Lyn as one who loves flowers and let us keep the flower haters out :) Oh, and by the way very nice flower very well presented!

Beautiful flowers Lyn and what a gorgeous colour. They are what my late Mum would have called "Salmon Pink" and she would have loved them as well. Great picture and thank you for your pictures, comments and advice.

A dilly of a lily, Lyn. Love the lighting here. Great shot, even if it is pink. ;)

Another one of your great compositions Lyn. The framing and lighting is really good. Just to beautiful for words.

Hello LynEve...

I just had the pleasure... the breathtaking pleasure... of viewing this image...It is indeed a ravishing beauty in 'pink'!! Yes my dear...I am very familiar with the quote as stated above...and understand it perfectly...thank you for this presentation...and of course...you are indeed welcome!

This has happened to me several times in my life...and among those people... who rekindled my flame... at a time of need... was you...I am speaking of my recent loss of a child...and I thank you once again...my friend...your many PMs of encouragement...your several postings in my behalf... over time... I will remember in a special way!...

I am glad that people have sparked your flame from time to time...knowing you...as I have come to...it would be hard to resist doing so...

This image is remarkably beautiful...and of course...pink still being my favorite color...adds to the pleasure of viewing...the framing is perfect...a perfect match to enclose these most beautiful of day lillies...it is truly lovely...Lyn...;o) I can't think of another word to add...except to say...the sentiments and the image compliment one another beautifully...

I will be adding this image to my favorites!!

Until next time...

Marilyn

Who could fail to be entranced by this beautiful image? Truly a "keeper" as Pat says, and, in my opinion, worth much more than a loaf of bread. Glad your "spark" has been rekindled, Caedes wouldn't be the same without you.

Hm, I'm not sure that's such a bargain these days! lol Have you seen the price of bread? In this instance though I would definitely make an exception because while the bread would be food for my body, this image is food for my soul. A masterpiece, Eve! Just gorgeous!
