This is another peaceful corner of the beautiful Millbrook resort near Arrowtown, New Zealand. I have not done anything with this, except to resize, it is straight off the camera. I tried sharpening it a little but it seemed to make it too harsh. Interested to hear your views. Panasonic DMC-FZ7. Thank you for viewing :)

I like this shot Lyn....It has the shadows hitting the trees and land from a low sun!...(It's winter there now..ain't it?)...

On a more personal basis..I think I might have been tempted to Lighten those shadows a tad!....however...excellent shot and a great composition!

It doesn't need sharpening, I think. Maybe as Bob said, a little tweak in curves. You have some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, Eve. What a view!

A wonderful photo indeed, and very well taken, great composition, focus, and spot on colour, I also like the way the stream takes you into the photo, good work.

Kind regards,

Mark.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. Everyone has photographic memory; some just don't have the film. COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....

Doesn't look like it needs sharpening to me Lyn! Just a great country scene with lovely rich colours. It could be England except for the tree in the foreground, which I think is what gives it its interest.

A lovely peaceful shot Lyn with plenty to look at. It's a tad dark for my tastes but only a bit.

Looks sharp enough to me!! Perhaps locking in the left tree more so to the left frame would be a wee more pleasant view?? Smashing scene all in all!!

Score is more like it, but it still doesn't measure up to the great photo. I love how peaceful the scene is and how vivid the colors appear. It looks like there is a golf course close by. I like the song the title represents. "Not the river, but the stream." Great post Lyn.

Very relaxing and peaceful view. The tree in the foreground adds to the composition, I almost detect a slight tilt to it tho. But then maybe that is the way it grows! Nice shot LynEve.
