This is the view from the Altar window of The Church Of The Good Shepherd that I posted yesterday. No need for stained glass here :)I had time for only three shots from inside as the caretaker came to lock the church at 4PM. My 3 shots are all timed at 4.02PM so it really was a rushed effort. Taken through glass there were a few blemishes/reflections which I have tried to remove. I wish I had had time to photograph some of the interior, but perhaps that is an excuse for another visit sometime :) . .Thanks for looking through this window. . . Taken with Canon EOS 450D. Comments/opinions appreciated and welcomed.

You're so right about not needing the stained glass. What a view. It'd make a believer out of anyone! lol Seems you're handling that 450D really well, Eve.

What a tranquil view from the window. Much better I think than a stained glass window. Stunning again my friend.

What a place for an altar. It really makes you believe in the hereafter. The here is so beautiful as you displayed. I can't imagine the after. Great post Lyn.

Great idea Lyn, there's something very poignant about the frail, vulnerable cross against that wild, rugged landscape. Fantastic work.
