This was taken through netting and I am sure you will see the traces of it. I was annoyed with myself as I had recently read how to focus a shot to minimize the appearance of netting or wires and when I took this I could not remember what to do! As usual I took 'pot luck' and was reasonably pleased with the outcome . . . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7. . Thank you for taking a look.Commments, criticisms, opinions or suggestions are most welcome

Careful, ya don't wanna wake this BIG boy up!!

8~D

You may have been too close to the netting. You wanna back away and use your zOOm to focus past the netting and onto the sleepy beast.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Would have had no idea there was netting involved if you hadn't mentioned it, fantastic capture.

Nice capture of the lion having a snooze. There are only two mild traces of the netting which causes a discolouration in that area. I don't know which method you use but I remove it (at least most of it) by copying the colour of the discoloured area and using that colour as a coloured layer (say 20 % or so over a marked area) marked "Invert". This removes that colour to quite some extent.

Don't understand why a brave woman as you, didn't get inside Lyn, LOL!!!
Although one can see some netting, a wonderful capture anyhow.

Looks good netting removed or not. I feel safer knowing the netting is there even though I can't see it. Excellent capture Lyn.

I think you did great Lynne! I cannot see the fence at all. I just try to stand fairly close to the fence and focus with one focus point to the animal in the distance and it seems to make the fence disappear.

The minuscule traces of the netting are not distracting to me. I think Randy is right in what he told you. great capture.

Great shot Lyn in difficult conditions. It just goes to prove that lions are just little pussy-cats at heart!
