Taken just as darkness fell this evening with Kodak V550. I do not know her name - except she is Madamoiselle something or other. If anyone recognises her I would be delighted to know. She has lived in my garden for almost 25 years. Thank you for viewing - comments always welcome :)

Beautiful shot Lyn. Her name could be just that "Madamoiselle". There is a pink floribunda rose by that name that was sold by Jackson & Perkins. She dates back to 1950. Another one with just that name is a florists rose that comes from Meilland of France. Here are some other names that she might be: Mademoiselle Aïno Ackté, Mademoiselle Elisabeth de Grammont. You can also spend some time looking for her here: http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/plants.php?grp=M&t=2&qn=26&qc=0

She's a real beauty. It's a wonder she is still a mademoiselle! She finds lots of love and nourishment there it is plain to see. Your shot is splendid.
