The pure white snow and the mountains against the blue sky make this a beautiful image Lyn.

Lyn, this wonderful image gives me the feeling that Christmas time is coming, but we (people in New Zealand too, lol) have to wait for more than three months.

Beautiful post!

You will be posting nice spring/summer shots when we are posting the snow cover shots LE. Wish I had the mountains to look forward to.

Another super shot Lyn. The sun lighting up the blanket of snow really adds to this setting. Now time to go get warm!

Good evening, LE....

I thought for sure I saw some noise in that sky, but it turned out to be some dust on my monitor. Really fine job of handling the potential noise problem that plagues me on every shot. I could say that this is a beautiful view, but that's a given; so let's move on to the nitty gritty of the quality and workmanship of the photograph. Other than the foot prints soiling the lower left forefront, I can't find anything about this posting that bothers me. I like that lone cloud hanging over the mountain top in the middle and the bridge to nowhere. I'm a little confused (well....what else is new?). The deciduous trees in the foreground appear to have leaves, or am I seeing things? My experience is that snow and leaves don't mix very often or very well. A solid 7.5+ out of 10.
