That's a hellava backyard you have there, Lyn. California is really big on fences. When I moved from Illinois to California I couldn't get over how many fences there were. It was as if they were bragging that they owned a 3 foot strip of lawn on the side of their house. I'll assume that you don't have fences and that the ridgeline of those mountains is your property line.

I ran your photograph through my spectrometer and determined that your shot contains no pure reds. I have forwarded your photo to the Caedes moderators and specifically their fraud department. With no red sky the narrative legally should read, "Orange sky at night, got a damn mosquito bite."

All kidding aside, if that's even possible for me tonight, this is one gorgeous shot. Not only are the colors stupendous, but I love those textures and the layering of the clouds.

Lyn - I think the saying should be: "Red sky at night - a photographer delight!" The swirls of clouds make this very dramatic. Beautiful! Thad
