Farm gate taken with Canon 450D. I am experimenting with RAW images in Lightroom. Any comments/opinions will be most welcome

There's especially good details on the gate, and the sky looks dynamic. There is however some lens fringing on the trees outline, and I think the saturations a bit strong but that's just my personal opinion.

LR4? Just got it myself. Same, experimenting. The tones are interesting, particular on the gate, but the overall effect, to my eye, is blurred/muddy, which is at odds with the vibrancy of the colours. Somehow in my head, vibrant colours go with clarity and detail.

I think you did a pretty good job on this one, I notice some fringing around the trees, I look forward to more done with LR.
