Farm stock have the right of way on our roads. Met this mob on Monday. The practice is to stop if they are moving in the opposite direction. This was just a small mob that soon passed with some help from the sheepdog - just long enough to click a couple of shots through the windscreen. If one is driving in the same direction it is protocol to travel very slowly through them, keeping as far left as possible. With a large group it can take some time if they are traveling any distance. :) . . I liked the friendly faces of these sheep.
Any comments are welcome and most appreciated. Baaaa

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Not a site I've seen before but most of our sheep are raised out west - excellent lighting and I love the curves and hills in the background.

---I liked the friendly faces of these sheep---

At first sight, I thought that it was a strike for higher wages, but that doesn't match with their friendly faces.

So the reason for this road block stays unclear to me, lol.

Very fine image, Lyn!

Wonderful image, Lyn! Won't see that here. I'm glad you told me the protocol for passing them in the street though. It does make sense.

Cute faces in this wonderful shot Lyn. I have seen such encounters on the street on TV but never experienced it myself. I suppose you had ample time for this shot.

They look adorable. Some mornings on my way to work, if Im unlucky enough, I get delayed by a herd of cows which are alot taller and heavier than these sheep. I know Id prefer the sheep given a choice!! ha ha Great capture and well done!
