The raging Waitaki River. Behind the cloud of water is the Benmore Dam with its sluices wide open. The roar of the torrent is deafening !

It's a great shot, Eve. Never seen anything like that. I think it has a left tilt though.
The river water, regardless of roughness should be flat.

Yep. That water's got a bit of motion to it. ;-)

Besides being a good (well selected) image for the contest, it's also ideal for b/w conversion. Great tonal range here. The power of the wave is definitely felt here.
