The frame, I suspect, will not be liked by all :) It needed something and I tried several, finally settling on this one.
The photo (Canon 450D) was a 'Stop the car' moment but unfortunately there was a wide-mesh fence between me and the horses and in front of that a very deep and wide ditch,so I could not get close enough to poke my camera through the fence. I have spent over an hour removing the fence wire, and then decided to convert it to sepia. The frame is from XnRetro
The horses were watching and listening to a chestnut horse who was noisily cavorting round the adjoining paddock.
Comments most welcome.

What would have been a "normal shot" has been made spectacular by the reflections Lyn.

Lyn, I think the framing is just fine, and your hard work on cloning really paid off. I also like your sepia post work, and composition, and reflections are all so good. A fave for me my friend, I really like this one. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Lyn - My parents' photo albums have many of these frames. With the sepia tone, the frame and its retro look perfect. I like the low-angle lighting and the reflections. Thad

I think it's fine all over. The Sepia was a fine choice and the frame takes it back in time, even to the album corners, to match the sepia. Great work, Eve.

Your hard work paid off, Lyn .... it is a great image . Love the sepia tone as Doug said that and the frame gives this a vintage look .
And of course I love the subject matter .

Well worth all the effort Lyn as this is excellent. It would be a good image anyway but the reflection s make it excellent. Like the frame and the colour.

Outstanding presentation and reflections in this wonderful shot, love the work. I like the way the frame makes it look old, I remember those little corners to hold the picture on the page
