Fantastic vantage point and perspective here, dear Lyn.
I am going back to my hiding place and may reappear after our sea wolves make their comments... [:)]

The story linked is very serious and meaningful so I better abstain from my fun making for this once.
Great image, Lyn dear.

Nice photo and also thanks for the interesting link Lyn. I am not surprised about the sailing vessel losing the anchor. The winds can be rather strong around that place as you know. One of my company's ships broke all lines and went aground in Dunedin harbour. Luckily no serious damage was done.

That is an amazing sized anchor and the link was very interesting - it's hard to believe it could take down a trawler as they are not small vessels.

You know what they say? "Big anchor; big ship!" What an interesting story Lyn. An excellent memorial to the sailors of all the ships.
