Along a stretch of the rocky shore of Lake Tekapo, thousands of rock stacks have been built by visitors. Here is a small selection :)
Canon 450D. Thanks for your views and comments :)

The hills in the background likely have a lot more snow now 3 days later as we have had a wintery blast since then with snow to low levels. Rain has done the most damage with roads closed, crops ruined and people evacuated from their homes in Canterbury and Otago

This rock garden is interesting since visitors make the rock piles, not an artist. Nice perspective.

It sounds like all the terrible weather patterns from the wild winter in the U.S. have arrived your way, LE. Stay safe and keep warm.

Very interesting that the visitors are the "natural" artists - I do hope you will not have the very difficult winter that we had.

Unusual and interesting capture Lyn. Some of those rocks must have been quite heavy. The lake and hills look lovly too.

Good capture Lyn. Are those visitors the same ones who make those crop circles? Sad to hear about your weather. We have been having some nasty weather here as well.
