The New Zealand town of Oamaru has a thriving "Ordinary Cycle" club and it is a common sight to see penny-farthing cyclists riding about the place,going about their business. This enormous sculpture is the top half of a set of children's swings in a beachside play area with a Steampunk theme.

Lyn I think that such a bike won't be a winner in the 'Tour de France', lol. It's however a great and nostalgic image. Hard to imagine that nowadays biking material underwent such a progression in a relative short time.
