I started with sunflowers so this one seems a good way to finish. She is bowed down in the heat, laden with pollen and a couple of bees, waiting for rain.
Soon she will be birdseed, along with her millions of companions all around her. Between them they will provide 95% of this country's bird feed, and in the meantime they warm the hearts of all who see them :)Yellow is such a happy colour!
Thank you for joining me on this little journey close to my home.

"True friends are like bright sunflowers that never fade away, even over distance and time."
~ Marie Williams Johnstone

Beautiful sunflower photo Lyn.

--Between them they will provide 95% of this country's bird feed--

You feed your birds very well. Here most of the sunflowers becomes sunflower oil and knik-knaks.

Lyn - With the white vignette and framing, this bloom, and very happy bee look wonderful. This is a welcomed sight on a cold winter morning here. Thad
