Steampunk - the future as it used to be.
A fun genre of SciFi featuring steam powered technology and set in an alternate future version of Victorian England.
This airship is outside Steampunk HQ (Oamaru, NZ, considered Steampunk Capital of the world!)
The building was originally called Meeks Grain Elevator and was built in 1883 designed by Architects Forrester and Lemon for the grain traders and millers J. & T. Meek. Oamaru was at that time a flourishing sea port, and bigger than Los Angeles. It was originally 5 storeys high but the top two were destroyed by fire in 1920.
It now contains retro-futuristic SciFi art, movies, sculpture and immersive light and sound exhibits.

I thought it was a lifeboat at first. That means the airship also should be steam driven!! Good capture of "Sharky" the steamdriven airship Lyn.

Not a lifeboat, like Raj initially thought, but a mini zeppelin. It's too small however to carry a gondola under its hull.
