Can you see her ? There on the horizon like a ghost of a tall ship of the past! You need full screen to see her.
I zoomed in as far as I could and fought against a very strong wind to hold the camera steady.
She is not a ghost ship - she is the "Spirit Of New Zealand" and belongs to the Spirit of Adventure Trust that sends young people off on voyages in her to improve their life skills and sailing skills.
She is a a steel-hulled, three-masted barquentine with an overall length of 45.2 m (148 ft). She can carry 40 trainees and 13 crew.

The layers here of the sand, rocks, waves and the ship, wow, wonderful idea to snap this photo, came out perfectly, even under difficult conditions! Wonderful opportunity for new sailors.

That's right, Lyn. To me the barquentine Spirit of New Zealand' is an elegant lady because a ship is female. Wish I could dance (on top of the waves, 😁 ) with her. The accompanying music is performed by the everlasting sound of the sea.
