The Waitaki River. the translation of Waitaki from Maori is Weeping Waters. It flows 110 kilometres (68 miles) south-east to enter the Pacific Ocean close to where I live. Its flow is greatest in summertime when the mountain snows melt.

This view is even better than all the other ones! Well composed and very beautiful shot Lyn. I like the way the colourful trees are lined up against the hills.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
The orange leaves add so much color and makes this well composed scene spectacular in technicolor.
